Does anyone have the 1" drop rear roush springs? Pics? Also with the addition of these would an adjustable panhard be needed?

No you won't need an adjustable panhard bar.

Of course, the Roush rear springs get rid of that pesky rear wheel gap and levels the car out. If that's what you want, the front gap will be just a bit bigger than the rear.

I bought a set of H&R Sport Springs (a set of fronts and rears). I first put on the rears which lowered the rear 7/8" and left out the fronts. That was enough to level the car but I decided I liked the 'rakish' look better so I put the fronts on later.

I don't know how to work the search engine here but there are pics somewhere here where the Roush rears have been installed by other folks.

Hey, I thought this was funny. I did not know what rakish meant, so I looked it up.

Rakish:
- (Naut.) Having a saucy appearance indicative of speed and dash. --Ham. Nav. Encyc.
- Dissolute; lewd; debauched.
- marked by up-to-dateness in dress and manners; "a dapper young man"; "a jaunty red hat" [syn: dapper]
- marked by a carefree unconventionality or disreputableness; "a cocktail party given by some...raffish bachelors"- Crary Moore [syn: devil-may-care]
- Of the character of a rake; dissolute.
- Nautical Having a trim, streamlined appearance: "We were schooner-rigged and rakish, with a long and lissome hull" (John Masefield).
- smart; jaunty; dashing: a hat worn at a rakish angle.
- (of a vessel) having an appearance suggesting speed.
- like a rake; dissolute: rakish behavior.
-----------------

admittedly, that did not help much. "Like a rake?!" How can you be like a rake? So I looked up another word in the definition of rakish.

dis·so·lute (dĭs'ə-lōōt')
- Lacking moral restraint; indulging in sensual pleasures or vices.
- Dashingly or sportingly stylish; jaunty.

Jaunty?!?

jaun·ty (jôn'tē, jän'-)
- Having a buoyant or self-confident air; brisk.
- Crisp and dapper in appearance; natty.

Natty?!?!

nat·ty (nāt'ē)
- Neat, trim, and smart; dapper.

Okay, I was not coming to any words I would consider in my vernacular, but I think I am getting it. You liked the more sleek appearance of a fully lowered car? Or, you know, you liked the more saucy, jaunty, natty, look.

"Roush lowering springs: for the saucy jaunty natty look we all desire."

I want to make sure I get paid when that becomes their new slogan.

Thanks for increasing my word power bluecar.

That's what we run on our '05. We also have taller than stock rear tires. I love the look.

If I go with the Ford K springs would I need a panhard bar? I dont want the rear to be lower than the front so if I can lower both front and back that would be best...

It would probably be a good idea. I've got the BMR Adjustable Panhard bar and don't have any problems.

Thanks Grey! I first saw the useage of the word on a Triumph TR7. I admit I used the word loosely but am glad I used it correctly. $100 dollar words are fun.
