I am planning on taking out my rear seat and planning to stick 2 12 inch subs in where the seat was. The one major thing is that I have a convertible and I dont know if this task is really possible. I have seen it on Coupes before. Also if anyone knows of someone that can possibly make one let me know or if you have instruction of how to make one let me know. Thanks.

Anything will help including pictures.

I have a coupe and got the inspiration from Aaron. He did his like you want I think (his subs are in the seat back area).

I took rough measurements and then used cardboard to trace and cut a template for the sides (where the contoured plastic is). It worked pretty well (I am NOT an artsy-fartsy type, so I hate that kind of stuff. I am a decent carpenter though).

I considered having one made/buying one, but I wanted features that would cost a bit to have made. But one pretty good lookin place I found was here . The guy and I emailed back and forth once and he seemed pretty cool.

The customer cars section might give you ideas (there is a vert or two in there IIRC).

Good luck.

I have a vert and a rear seat delete with 2 12" subs in the back of it pointing into the cabin and it fit fine. Just make it so the top of the wood [or w/e you're using] clamps or is hung on the 2 holes [slots] where the rear seat use to be and at the bottom where the two bolts hold it in near where the ass-seat and back-seat meet.

This is a picture that I have made and i might just might make this box rather then the whole delete kit with the subs since I have subs already and I dont want to go out and spend more money on free air subs. Let me know what you guys think.
