Does anyone know who makes a rear seat delete kit for 94-95 GT coupes? If so please post a website. I am looking for a black carpeted kit, and I figure someone here has to know where to look.

Thanks

Check the partshopper section of this site, they have some nice ones. X2c makes some, 50resto sells the x2c ones. Yellow mustang registry sells them too- www.rearseatdelete.com

dont understand why you couldnt make this yourself...

Its outragous how much these guys are charging for this shi*..
I made mine for all of maybe 20 bucks, and took maybe 1-2 hours total.
Real easy.. Pick up some thin plywood, from lowes/homedepot.. Then hit up the local upholstery supply shop for some carpet and a spray can of adhesive. Nab a few bolts from lowes, and your set... I have a brief overview of making one on my webpage, with a pic.

The delete i made for a coupe was for my 01, but would be identicle to a 94-95 coupe.

I'm curious as to how much these weigh compared to stock seats. I know in the fox coupes I've had, the back seats (upper and lower) weigh probably 10 pounds altogether -- I think the seatbelts I took out weigh more. Are the newer cars similar?

I wonder because of the plywood type material that seems popular in these -- seems like minimal weight savings if any at all???

some people, like me, just plain suck at fabricating things. My attempt at making a kit looked worse than having nothing at all.

does anyone else think the rear seat deletes look ugly??....ive always thought it would look better if the "wall" came up off the rear floor much closer to the seats (would look more like it was meant to be a 2 seater) you could then loose the whole area where your back would have rester/end of the trunk...would prolly save some weight...would look more 2 seater like, and would allow for some KILLER trunk space ....im not sure if im explaining my idea very well though....

i think the seats together weigh around 37lbs... my delete panels carpeted weighed maybe 8lbs or so.. defintally no more then 10lbs. Its a minimal savings, but also helps with more cargo room, which is the reason behind why i made mine.
