I don't understand your point.

So is it a race car, a show car or a truck?

OK... what is this?

Seriously, nothing is more aggravating than being broke down along side the road knowing that "IF I JUST HAD A *&#$% WRENCH I COULD FIX THIS".

Some people rely on a AAA card.

Some people including myself feel more comfortable driving knowing there are a few hand tools with me in case I have an issue along side the road. (or someone else if the boy scout comes out in me.) I also have a AAA card.

Nice job by the way. Well thought out.

I hope one day you'll break down with your car in the middle of nowhere.
And you'll say to yourself, Damn if I had that tool box with me....

I have a coupe and carry a toolbox in the trunk. Guess you've never broke down before in the middle of no-where - toolboxes come in hand. Often I wonder if I carry enough tools with me...

I think the way he incorporated the toolbox into where the rear seat used to be is a great idea! Plus it's hidden with the seat down. I've been contemplating on doing a rear seat delete, and will most likely use his idea down the line. Great job and thanks for sharing!

Heh. Not only do I carry a toolbox, I also carry spare belts and hoses!

I guess that means my coupe is a truck

ok, tools in the truck, toolbox or something cool. but a toolbox holder??? all that ply wood, nails, extra carpet, etc... you will soon be removing to lower the times at the track.

The Mustang parts companies have been selling a tool tote that matches the trunk mat for years. I suppose a Mustang-specific toolbox would be nicer, but I have no problem with the concept. IIRC, Saleen or one of the other Mustang tuners offered a molded toolbox for the inside of the SN-95 trunklid, like those done by some luxury/performance marques such as BMW, Mercedes, and Aston Martin.
