rear seat delete

You guys should use the search function for this you will find a ton of info. I don't believe you saved 50 lbs. by removing the rear seats though. Myne didn't weigh that much when I took myne out anyways. When I did have myne out I just left it bare metal in the back. It's all reinstalled now but you can carpet it to make it look a lot better.

Did you remove all the seat belt brackets and such? that double's the weight reduction.

I took the hatch carpet off the seat backs and placed it there, now all I need to do is whizz wheel off the studs and do some kind of carpet. I plan to do a custom carpet job all the way from firewall the tail gate.

Those delete kits look to add weight, the idea is to delete weight.

I don't have any Torx head screwdrivers or whatever to take out the seat belts and stuff... do most auto parts places carry those?
I got a set of them, probably about 10-15 of the hex "sockets" with the screwdriver handle that fits in them, or you can use a ratchet. I used a T-20 hex socket to take the plaque off of my upper intake and it twisted hex head it was so tight. The set I have was like $20 at autozone. You could probably get a better quality set at sears or something.
