I'm hopefully picking up a rear in the next couple of days and ditch my 7.5

Drum to drum and I think it still has GOOD E-brake cables
Trac-loc with 10,000ish miles on rebuild.
I think they are FMS gears.
Complete with brakes and all!!!
3:73 with welded axle tubes

That an edited version of what I'm getting. Essentially 8.8 trac loc w/ 3.73 FMS gears, drum to drum rear.

What else am I in need of to bring the rear of my car up to date?

UPA?
LCA?
torque box?
sway bar(gt in there now)?
I def need rear Springs, Shocks/Struts
axle damper?
brake upgrade?

Its just a bolt on 302 with an AOD

Let me know as most of you have seen me post alot this past week or so. I'm not to versed on suspension stuff.

This is a STREET only car, no track just a fun hop in and go car. Goal is to make this car as safe, reliable and as fun as possible!

IF you would like to get some good control arms, now is the time. Not necessary though. IF you want to reinforce the torque boxes, now would be a good time. Leave the sway bar alone. Leave the brakes alone unless you get a T-Bird rear with discs or want to go 5 lug.

Basically, everything I said is IF you want to do it. None of it is necessary though.

GEt some MAximum Motorsports Lowers and leave the uppers stock. Otherwise, I have a set of lowers that I "boxed" with 1/4 inch steel and added Energy Suspension poly bushings. Hooks better than stock. I want 100.00.
