Rear suspension

Just an fyi for anyone reading. With the 40" bar, the lateral displacement of the axle with 2" of vertical movement either way would be .05". Thats pretty damn good...

That is one nice piece of work. I have herd some of the Maier stuff doesn't have a good fit and finish, this looks like a quality piece. The price is fair if you look at the cost of the parts for my watts link was just under $300. With that much adjustment, it would be easy to dial it in for track conditions. Looks plenty strong too.

Some tail pipes could be fabed up for it. Side exit exhaust won't pass sound at Laguna Seca and other tracks that have a sound issue. I hope to run full tail pipes with my watts and brake coolers. It's also a no-no to run side exhaust in Calif. on a Mustang.

That is a good piece of advice since I do plan on doing some Autocross and open track events once my Mustang is out of surgery.

I find it hard to believe that side exit exhausts are not allowed at Laguna Seca. Most all of the trans am cars I've seen have them including club events that include Cobras and GT 350s. Is it an issue with the side exhaust or db levels? I know most events have a db limit but didn't realize that side exhausts are taboo.

This also surprised and concerned me. Not that I need to drive in California, but I was planning on running the exhaust out in front of the rear tires. I think it will look good. However, I also want my exhaust to be quiet - probably like a factory new Mustang sound level. I like to hear the sound of a V8, but I've gotten a little old for the whole "look at me" loud exhaust thing.
