HI: my 04 GT convertible has the wing delete. Is there a difference between coupe and convt. wing? I see both on ebay, it seems unlikely that ford would make two separate wings for the same car. I want to install a wing but want to make sure I buy the correct type. Thanks hammerhead.
The only difference I know of is the some of the 99 and 00 models (both coupe and vert) used a different spoiler than the 01+. The mounting points were wider on the earlier models. Do an image search to see differences.
thanks AzPete; Iv done that on google and only difference I could see is that early ones had 3 mount bolts. I found new ford oem wings on ebay. I ordered one. $90. brand new . good deal. hamerhead
You might want to see if there is anyone local to you that has a wing they'd trade from a wingless trunk lid. Lots of guys with wings want to go wingless.
