Reasonable Price Exhaust Opinions

Hi... I have bbk equal length headers.. finally got rid of my pesky exhaust leak ... and error codes ... so now I'm free to do what I want ... just for fun ... I definitely want to replace the rest of my exhaust from headers back...

I am planning on picking up a x pipe with hi flow cats.. for around 229.99 ish .. anyone know of a better deal than that.. anyone ever got a offroad x and welded some hi flow cats in? That option may be cheaper.

For cat back ... I was thinking of getting some stainless steel intermediate pipes (u know the pipes between the x/h and mufflers) there is a flow tube 2 1/2 inch set on the mustangs unlimited website for 49.99. Then I was thinking of getting some universal mufflers 2 1/2inch magnaflow or other... borla .. off ebay would like to get both for under 150.00.

Then I was thinking of just dumping them.. anyone just clamp on some turndowns on the mufflers? Probably pretty cheap at Canadian Tire....

So for 450.. I think that's not to bad.... Any thoughts?

I love my Pypes X. Nice fit and it's all stainless. I have the offorad version but they make a catted pipe that's cheaper than most others. Their cats are really compact and are supposed to flow well. No experience with them myself but they look promising. Check ebay for good prices... I got my X pipe from Brenspeed, I think I paid $157 with free shipping, awesome deal. It sounds great too and I picked up a little seat of the pants power over 3000 rpm with no noticeable loss below that... I'm a big believer in X pipes now.
