Hello, so I just bought a project 01 mustang GT and it has motor knock so I’m pulling out that motor and swapping in the same engine that I just bought... I was wondering if I should rebuild the motor I bought before I put it in or just throw it in and run it?

I would at least put an oil pan gasket in , and a rear main seal.

seals and gaskets minimum if you just want to make it reliable for a lot longer.
