Need some help on the rebuild seems relatively easy im just confused on what shims to use, how much is too much how much is not enough? I have .030 shims on both sides but i cant get the ring gears and pinion gear to move by hand are they supposed to be be very hard to move or is it not moving because the pinion gear is not clearing the housing? it looks really close but i was told to use .045 shims on it. Basically what would happen if i didnt use a large enough shim whould it break or what?
