Hey guys. Im curious what maint i need to do at 50k. I went to the local ford dealership to ask them but they werent too helpful when they learned im going to do it myself.

i need to change the oil in the stang now but i need to know what else i should probably do at this mileage?
trans serv?
tune-up?
fuel filter?
rear diff fluid?
something other than fluids?

This is one of my favorite thread topics!

You should:

-bleed brakes
-inspect suspension components
-change spark plugs
-change differential fluid
-clean MAF
-replace shocks and struts unless you have already
-wax under hood scoop
-inspect brake pads
-flush and fill coolant
-have car aligned and wheels balanced
-inspect wheel bearings, ball joints, and tie rod ends
-clean and condition all rubber, window seals, and interior trim with 303 Aerospace Protectant
-set all tires at exactly your preferred pressure
-install a Goodyear Gator belt

air filter,fuel filter,spark plugs, pcv valve and diff and trans fluid if not done already.

It blocks UV, makes the rubber and plastic VERY slightly shiny and there is no gooey residue like armor all. I have been using it for a year and it ROCKS. It is especially good for the vinyl convertible top.
