it will look much better once i get my knew frpp 5 speed shifter knob. the leather on the knob in there now is much darker since its been used for 55k miles

damn that looks good. my ebrake boot is separating at the seams from the vinyl and felt. i may have to upgrade.

I have been looking into their stuff. It looks great, & very high quality.... Did u also do the e brake boot?

I need a new shift boot & E brake boot...

yeah

the ebrake boot is pictured along with my new cobra leather handle

this is my 3rd mustang with their boots in it

I figured that because the leather looked much higher quality than ford leather. I was gonna ask you about the leather e brake handle too. It looks good...

was a pita to get off and on. you can only buy them already on the ebrake assembly, and instead of unbolting it all and using the new one, i decided to just pull the handles off. trust me, they are on there very tight!

and yeah, it feels MUCH nicer than the stock plastic handle.

looks real nice bro. I wanna get the cobra e-brake assembly for my car, but havnt wanted to spend the money on it. After seeing it rubbed in my face how good it looks, I might have to get one now

I just got my new boots in the mail today. Looks so much better than the Ford stuff

How did you secure the ebrake boot to the Center console? Did you remove the console?

stock 99-04 shifter knob FTL...that thing is way too huge...I hated mine...but I really like the 05-08 shifter knob...has a good smooth feel to it, easy to grip. that shifter boot looks ok, I'll stick with mine though, they shouldn't have used white thread on the outside...woulda looked better with black or dk grey thread.

you can get the stiching any color you want, there is a list of colors to choose from

yes the console has to come out.

there is a plastic retaining ring that holds the stock boot in(its stapled onto the ring)
you have to remove the ring and attach the new boot. i used a **** ton of hot glue.
