An Edelbrock Performer intake is recommended by many people and the Edelbrock carb is supposed to be a real good street carb. JBA makes really nice headers but they are pricey though. Summit and Jegs seem to be reasonable on prices. Maybe somebody can tell you where to get parts cheaper than them though.

If you want a complete package, look into the edelbrock packages out there. they offer cam, intake, head and carb combos that will help you get the power your looking for and there is less guessing. A dress up kit to compliment it would be nice too.
