i guess its called the ignition relay. i know it is suppose to look like a top hat with 2 screw coming out of it. and if u have the car accs. on and connect the two screws with like a screwdriver the car will start. btw im trying to figure out if my relay is bad, not trying to steal a car.

You're talking about a Fox set-up. If you have a 95 and a 95 motor then you'll never find it b/c there is not one on 94/95's.

What's the problem you're having?

ok well then the guy at autozone is a dumbass. the problem is my car will frequently just not turn on, i mean the acc. lights and all that will but when i go to crank it over it dies completely and then the next time i try to crank it over its like the battery is completely dead. usually all i have to do is disconnect the battery and then reconnect it and it will work. but that doesnt always fix it. my ignition cylinder is all wack and im waiting till later today to get a new one to replace it, because i dont know if the cylinder could be causing the problem with a short somewhere or some other problem.

I had a similar problem recently. It turned out to be the ground connection on the block. I suggest checking the connections at the block and the starter; disconnect 'em, clean up the terminals, and put 'em back on. oh, and don't forget about the small wire that connects the starter relay to the solenoid; make sure it's not corroded or anything.

just some ideas.

Joe

Edit: just to rule out the starter relay, you could swap it with the horn or fog light relay and see if that does anything.
