Doing this would involve presenting a business case to my management.
I would have to show that performing this testing would benefit my company in some significant way.
I don't work at some rinky dink backwoods test lab.
Strain gages would not be needed, or even practical on a hose clamp.
Load and deflection data would be more than sufficient.
The challenge would be to induce load in the hose clamp the same way load would be induced on a spring.
I would be more than willing to help with the Test Design if others want to make this happen. I have been kicking around a couple of ideas that could be interesting........
Unfortunately, I can't commit my companies resources to this type of activity.
