Remote Mount Oil Filter Kit?

i was looking into a remote mount oil filter kit. cause i hate the mess the stock oil filter makes when changing it out. i was hoping i could get some feedback, if anyone has one on their car, or has used one in the past.

the pro's and con's of a remote mount etc. and if anyone has a pic of it install, that would be great

I think that our filters are in a decent place. I have seen much messier set-ups.

Now what I don't like about remote mounts is all of the extra lines and seals that can go bad, espcially on something like the oil. I have heard horror stories about the remote mounted filters.

Try this for your oil Cut down a 2L soda bottle so it is a couple inchs or so longer than the filter. Then once you break the filter loose put the bottle over it to catch the oil as it comes out. Saves a lot of mess.

I do this on my dakota because of everything the oil filter drips onto.
