Remove or not to Remove air silencer

bingo.. look into this http://www.roushparts.com/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=SM01-8105-A with a K&N filter, with removed silencer, and then plenum/throttle body if you feel like it.

For $55, that might be a good choice for people with K&N drop in who do not think it is worth the extra money for a complete kit. Has anyone installed this?

More air = louder and more power. A CAI would make it better but a removed air silencer will help the car. If you are undetermined, trim the stock air silencer and see what that does. Then remove it and see what that does.
