Anyone know how to remove scratches and scuffs from the black molding areas on the 'Stang? (i.e. the side mirrors, the trim around the window, etc.) Will stuff like Scratch-X work for that?

if it is deep and there is plastic that has been torn away there isn't much you can do. If it is minor, i am sure someone won't agree with this, i use a heat gun on low and slowly heat it up then is something with a mild texture to rub the scratch out.

If it is deep, i have used this on interior plastic panels, find a crayon that is a perfect match and color in, followed my mild heat gun , then repeat crayon - heat, till the scrath is full.

They're not very deep at all, just annoying little scratches. Think a hair dryer would work instead of a heat gun?

yes hair dryer should be fine, just be careful not to over heat it, you don't want to melt it, just get it a little soft.
