well with out risk of going too low with my piping-- i want the gt to sit just a little lower..... so instead of just buying the sportlines and ditching my prokit, i was thinking of removing front or all isolators.... what wil this do to my ride quality? what will this do to my car?
my other car sits literally 3 inches off the ground with kit and i am well used to driving lowered cars but i do like to just tear around in the gt....

part two- untill i decide to roush my car, i am looking into 03/04 cobra front bumper and spoiler... whats the average price for both items people pay? debating if its better to just order the whole kit or slowly piece together the roush kit with the coba stuff. . i HATE the gt bumper- and the mach 1 lip doesnt cut it on silver. not trng to be a faux cobra or roush but the last cobra- roush and 'normal' cobra r bumpers are the only ones i find tastefull. i.m.o. the stok 03 04 bumper should sit a little lower but that trim piece helps slightly.

need some more 'look fast' to match the car for later the gears finally go in.... i like an even balance of show and go but nothing tacky.

i just did this exact thing with my prokit... i love the stance now... at first i just did the rear then did the front..

i have an 03 cobra bumper and it doesnt scratch anymore than it did before and i live in los angeles, my prochamber still scrapes.. oh well

ride quality is the same to me... it was always crappy to begin with so not noticable even with aftermarket shocks

well that sucks.... now i have to do it... lol... what struts are you using? im feeling a lot of body roll from my stock crap. how is your camber like that? friends dad builds 510 race cars so i might just have him drill and re rivet my strut plates . was just gonna get some stiff fox struts to save some cash and better for the travel from what i hear. my z24 is after market beyond the relm of sanity and that thing (though a cavalier) out handles some new bmw's i've driven. i love riding on rails and fast turns. not a fan of our steering box on stangs. (hum i love cornering and i bought a solid axle car with an iron block....)shakes head.... ----

also huge issue- my b & m fully adjustable shifter has way lots of left and right play. if i cant fix it i'm getting a pro 5.0 i miss third like a mofo and it literally has a LOT of side to side woble.

been reading this cite for about year (since purchase) and finally decided to start posting. its timeto polish the stang a little. i wanna tear it up this fall........

I plan on removing the front isos also, just to lower the front some more. If you do remove them, make sure you use some electrical tape and wrap the ends of the spring. that way you dont have any noise issues. I heard that works really good.

I removed the front isolators when I was running pro-kit springs, replaced them with a few ply's of neoprene sheet (the rubber stuff) so there wasn't any metal-metal contact. Lowered an additional 1/2", looked great, didn't add any noise, very good!

what is this sheet you speak of and where do you get it? and w/ the electrical tape thing---- do you mean you 'wapped' the top of the spring the way you woul electrical wiring? we just officially bought our first house ad the drive way has a rough angle. i dont scrape yetat an angle but i havent measured it. oh speaking of my house- half of my garage is being taken up buy a flat vlack cavalier with some dents no bumpers 18s and crappy sunfire interior. no exhaust needs some tlc asking 1500. 105kish. perfect if you want to build a 21 yr olds project usdm white rice mobile.

Cool, I know where your at. About an hr or so from me.

Yeah, Fred Martin SuxAss. I wouldn't recomend them to anyone. They screwed me big time on my clutch install. Long story. Cant believ he wanted to trade your stang in for a malibu . They really suck there.

hahaha they have to pay for their big illegal sign some how...... if ya know anyone interested- i have a bbk x pipe o/r with about 100 miles on it fo sale.

anyways---- so im thinking about some kyb struts. how much different are the 2s that the regular ones? the '2' are double the price. and i hould probably get fox struts due to not being stock height.

so yeah still need to know about those friggin rubber sheets and electrical tape....

and havent gotten any good answer as to how much is too much for the 04 cobra wing and skirts should cost me......
