How hard is it too move the 3 pedals. im replacing my clutch quadrant with a new stock one(dont ask why...or tell me i should have gotten an aftermarket one) but it seems like the only way i can get the new ratcheting gear on is to take everything out...is this true?
there isnt enough room to get the ratchet gear over its pin or am i just stupid?

yea well i wouldnt think so either....there is not enough room to get the ratchet gear onto its pin...ive been working at this all day...easier to swap and engine and tranny than to replace a quadrant..dumbest thing ever

You don't have to remove them, never heard of anyone doing that actualy. What do you need a ratchet for?

The pedal removal is a big pain in the azz. You will need to remove all the trim under the steering wheel, disconnect all the harness plugs around the wheel, drop the wheel, and then remove the pedals. It took us the better part of a day and half to get the pedals in and out. I think going to an aftermarket quadrant will be easier, and better in the long run.
