hey guys im going to be installing my flowtech longtubes in a week or two and i bought stage 8 locking bolts to replace the stock studs. i was wondering if any of you guys have ran into any problems with the stock studs im afraid of breaking one. also how much is it for a new pair of header gaskets from ford?

Gaskets now come in a set of 4 (2 holes per unit). I paid $76 for 2 (1 side) at my local Ford dealership. I'd contact Randy over at MD for a very good price.

I wouldnt know how to remove the stock studs, mine stayed in the block

I got stage 8's but my studs cam out with zero issues. I used 4 of the flowtech studs as the stockers had clearance issues on 4 of them.

Stock studs. Some of studs were a little close on the flanges.

My stock studs came out with no problem. Sprayed em down with some liquid wrench 2-3 times before I took them out. I will warn you, I had 2 of the stage 8 bolts not fit with my BBK long tubes. I had to use the hardware that came with my l/t's for cylinder 7 and 8.

I checked the bolts about every hundred miles for the first 500 miles. Mine never loosened at all. But I know when we did my buddies, his came loose around 200 miles after install. Just tighten them up and keep checking. Eventually they will stay.
