removing window tint?

the owner before me had the windows tinted with what looks to be like clear tint. im getting ready to have the back one tinted and was wondering what you guys use to get it off? thanks

I imagine you could use a razor blade.

razor blade and a squirt bottle with soapy water...

if it has defrost spray it down with soapy water and get extra tint or plastic that is like it and squeegie it on and let it bake in the sun and the old will come off with the new...and use a scrubber pad to get any excess glue off

you can usually use the protective film that the new tint has on it to get the old off...

I had to peel the tint off of my side windows a few months ago due to a cop saying it was too dark.I just peeled the old tint off and the glue pretty much stayed on the window.Then I used some isoprophyl alcohol (sp) to clean the remaining glue residue off.I wouldnt go using a razor blade on your back window just in case you damage the defrost lines.Other than that its pretty easy, just alot of scrubbing.
