First all prices are in canadian, so take away 1/3rd to get american values...

Concept CD-810 (slightly scratched) /w rem gain control (810watt rms @ 1ohm, built in fan, blue lights, platinum connectors...)
Concept CEX-10 (500 watt rms subs, DVC)
The speakers are 1 year old, but they've only been used for a couple months. He estimates one month. (They came out of a trans am, but dont hold that against them)

I can get the two of those for 200. For 50 more i can get the other CEX-10 which has a slight cut in the surround. How can i repair that/ how much is it to be repaired, can it be repaired, will it sound good etc.?

Also is that a good buy, the seller is my cousin so trust is not an issue, I hooked them up to a car battery sitting in my room, and they sound fairly good, the cones feel kind of weak, there was no box available at the time so i didn't hear them turned up or anything, basically heard that they do in fact work.

Here we have a picture, sorry i couldn't get closer all i have is a webcam and the sub was distorting the monitor even from that distance... magnet is scary...

Hello fellow Canuck! Most subs can be repaired "good enough" by using silicone on the back side of the tear. Just don't go overboard! Only use enough to act as glue! Sounds like a decent deal though otherwise,as long as the Concept amp holds out.(I've got a couple buddies who have gone through SEVERAL Concept amps and subs)
