Can somebody post a picture of a panel thats been conditioned with POR ? Id like to see it , and is it think? i have a few minor pin holes also and dont really think its needs replacing , Id like to see if POR would work for me too
Good comments Pakrat. I actually just left the auto body shop and the cost between the weld job and the POR products (and supplies) is about the same. If I'm going to spend money...I might as well do it the right way.
Solid, what are you basing that comment on? The level of damage? You think the water might have settled in the frame support? I'm gonna take a close look at the frame rail tonight. I might just purchase one just in case it needs to be replaced. I just checked and it only runs $35.00.
You might want to pick up a tube of POR Patch. It's a thicker verison of POR, which is really thin like oil. The POR Patch is like a gel used for filling holes. POR Silver is also good because it's a filler (slightly thicker than POR15 black).

I just picked up the car from the shop. Had to put a little pressure on them earlier today because they still hadn't replaced the floor pan. They actually did an excellent job. Very pleased with the weld job. Now for the POR! Ha!
