Replaced intake now no brakes!!

I was installing new valve covers so i needed to remove the intake.. Anyways i got everything bolted all up and now my brake pedal is really hard to push. So that big vac line comming off the booster, what does it connect to?

The vacuum line to the power booster should connect to a large vacuum tap at the rear of the intake. If you did not plug the vacuum source, your engine should be running miserably with a hugh vacuum leak.

do u mean, the vaccume line comming off the booster goes up to the vac tree right above it then to the manifold. Or it goes directly from the manifold to the booster?

line from the vacuum tree goes to the intake. Brake booster line goes to the tree

Just ignore the red line to the MAP sensor since your car is Mass Air.

Sorry, I have all 79-82 carbed cars, except the efi 89 LX 2.3. I did not know the brake booster line went to a vacuum tree. All of the carbed ones have a line direct from the manifold to the brake booster.

Should not be hard to fix this one.
