replaced sending unit, now what??

Just picked up a 87 GT T-top a few weeks ago. Well the gas hand wasn't working, but i wasn't gonna fool with it..thinking it was the sending unit in the tank....
Well the fuel pump went out this week, so since i was going to have to drop the tank, I went ahead and got a new sending unit. Guess what...gas hand still doesn't move from E......
Any ideas what to check or replace next????

The wiring from the tank to the interior, the anti-slosh module and the gauge.

not sure if you got around to driving it but be sure there is fuel in the tank. I put 5 gal after dropping the tank and after doing my white face gauge swap the needle was off and I also thought I did not fix it. Once I topped off the tank I saw the needle for up approx half way...so now I just cal'd the needle to a full tank.. hope its as easy for you. If not Id replace the slosh module.
