Replacement Coil Packs for 1997 GT

Hey guys,
I think its about time to replace the stock coil packs in my '97, ive been having misfires under load and have exhausted all my other options. I was just wondering what you 96-98 guys recommend I use as a replacement? I was looking Accel coil packs (here), along with an offering from MSD or just the stock Motorcrafts. I've also heard of Screamin' Demon packs, but for whatever reason I can't find anything online about them. What are your experiences, and what do you think I should do? Thanks!

unless your going to put a msd ignition or other just buy stock,they say that they are good to like at least 400 stock,just what i was told by the guy i was buying coils from,but i would get a good quality brand though

i did the whole screamin demon pack and love it. it felt a lot smoother and insured a nice strong spark for the n2o looks awesome too.

I did those too with Denso Iridium plugs and mine was smoother also. And i got better gas milage.

yeah, i was thinking wires, but they only have about 15k on them. Think it would be worth doing wires first?

What wires do you have? Are they touching each other? Is there any chance they could be allowing spark to "jump"?

I'd get a spray bottle of water, and mist around the wires at night while it's running, and look for a little fireworks show. That's how I tracked down one bad wire out of a new set from Murray's in my Ranger. Give a few mists around the coils too. Sometimes the boots arc to eachother, or the coils might have cracks in them. If you get no sparks jumping at all, pop the coils off, and take them up to Autozone, and they will test them for free; or if you have an ohmmeter, I can give you the resistances the coils should have. At autozone, its $80 per coil pack, but the ones on ebay were $130 for two (Accels). The wires are 8mm motorcraft (stock replacement, as far as I know they arent touching each other because I have them running through looms. I've never washed the engine either, though the kid before me hosed it down before I bought it (that was 15000 ago). Perhaps some moisture seeped into the coil packs? I'm really just out of ideas by now. Here's what I've done to try and remedy the problem:
Checked all vacuum lines
Torqued the intake manifold
Cleaned MAF, and replaced hose clamps.
New autolite 764s gapped at 0.053" (tried 0.052-0.055 range)
Fuel filter has <10K on it
Oil is newish
Running 93 octane
Seafoamed and ran injector cleaner recently
Replaced DPFE, IAC is also new (prob not relevant)
Wires have 15K as was stated, but they were completely off the car when I did my PI manifold install.

What the hell can it be? I'm in a craptacular situation right now bc I can't exactly afford the price of sending it somewhere to have it fixed, but I also can't keep replacing things by trial and error. Thanks for the help!

Those look nice - how do they perform? I'll probably end up doing coils and wires when I get my tax return. First I'm pulling my PI manifold to check for leaks (I used nPI gaskets, which has me worried), and I'm going to change my oil because I suspect it may be contaminated with gasoline (thanks to svttech76 for giving me that lead). If the misfire doesnt go away, I will proceed to push my car off a cliff

I have stock ignition coils with MSD super conductor plug wires, NGK iridium plugs, and the Kenne Bell Boost-A-Spark... That is working with my 16 pounds of boost and 500HP...

really? well if thats the case I may end up just getting motorcraft replacements if they are cheaper (but from what i've seen, they arent). By the way, your car is absolutely sick
