Ok well I went and got a Mac H pipe w/cats installed with Flowmasters on my 98 GT about a year ago. About a week ago my check engine light came on and I started to hear rattling. We checked the engine codes and it was for emissions something P420 or something like that.
Anyway, we took it to our local shop and they said it was the rear catalytic converter. So we were looking for a replacement when the guy at the place I purchased the Mac from said that I would have to buy the whole system again!
Please tell me thats not the case and that there is a possible way to replace it? Although someone was telling me about high performance cats I could fit on there but Im not sure if he knew I had the Mac H pipe or not.
