Replacing a Syncro

Hello all i have a 2002 GT with the stock transmisson. We have figured out that the syncro in 1st to 2nd is shot. does anybody no how to replace the syncro??

Its very deep.Youll have to pull the tranny, take it all apart and replace senchro and good luck getting it back togather. I have a t-45 and if i had a senchro go out id buy a new tranny for 1k dollers i dont know how much a 3650 is though.

If you're still under warrantee- get it to the dealer NOW! Thsi is covered by a TSB -- the the sticky discussion above.

If not, you may be in for some real expense -- when I had the synchro kit done to mine under warrantee, the DEALERS cost was somewhere around $1400. I imagine it would have been close to $2k "retail".
