The uppers do not come with bushings for the axle end. I used the 3/8" drill bit, like just about everyone else here does. Just drill and let it run around the outside and it'll come right out. The rubber isnt a problem at all. The metal sleeve though is a little "more fun." I had the rear out of the car, which made it tons easier. But if your just getting replacements, the metal sleeve would probably stay there anyhow.
