I need to replace my clutch and my pilotbearing also. I have never messed with the pilot bearing before. Is there anything I need to knoww or need to remove the old one and install the new one? I will be doing this with the motor in th car and the car on jackstands. So yes laying on my back. Also I am replacing the clutch thats in there with a King Cobra. Do I need to get my flywheel turned or anything. I just had it turned about 3000 miles ago when I put the motor back in the car. I should have replaced the clutch then to but it had a little bit of life left in it until I tried to do a big smokey burnout in 2nd gear with a 300 LB person in my passenger seat and low and behold there was more smoke that came off the clutch than there was off the tires not to mention the car woudn't go back into gear until I made a turn or two on the firewall adjuster.
