Replacing convertible top!!! HELP!

Anyone ever do this? How hard is it??? I am considering attempting this myself... Any pointers or special tools any help is highly appreciated!!!

all i know is that it costs a lot, and mine's just starting to crack around the edges.

Yeah i have a new top i think i am jus reusing my rear glass cause its in good condition... my top has a few tears... i drip water...

Looking to do this myself as well

I have '96 Cobra vert that has a few cracks in its top. I want to replace the canvas but salvage the glass as its fine (and tinted). Did anyone attempt and succesfully do this yourself? I am looking for some tech articles to gauge whether or not I can pull it off myself?

thankfully, mine is relatively good condition and should last 10 more years..i have a neighbor who works at a canvas shop....he does stuff like on the side..i asked him about a couple of months ago..it is a lot of work, if you want it done properly...he mentioned short-cuts some guys try to take to cut back, etc etc..( i don't remember what the short cuts were)...if he's still around in 10, i'll let him do mine..( i watch his kids sometimes in the evenings when they get home from school, so brownie points i have!)
