Replacing headlight assembly's ?

I got this 2006 Pony Packaged mustang last week and it has a lot of MODs. I think I would rather have the original headlight assemblies than what it has now. I don't have the originals so I'll need to buy them, but how much trouble am I looking at to swap back? Was there any special wiring done for these aftermarket assemblies?
