I was thinkin' youre not supposed to plug Z tires, but if its a pin hole and you can locat it, patch it from the inside or have a tire place do it (I had a nail and they used a steel braided patch on the inside for 5 bucks) or try a can or two of goo, youre going to have to drive more than 3 miles once you spray the can in, but it works on all the stuff Ive used it on, even my dads farm tractor tire that ran over a roll of barbed wire

its a safety issue, not a wear issue. If you only replace one tire, one tire grips different than all 3 on the front that could mean some serious grabbing on a turn and could cause you to overcorrect and wreck, on the rear if you gunned it a bit you could slide out one side or the other and possibly hit something. I think theres an issue at a certain speed over 60 as well but I dont remember what it is.
Tire stores will tell you you need to replace all four, but you should always change at least the same pair (front or rear) when doing an intermittent swap.
