Has anyone ordered the new 300 speed star Saleen replica 'silver' rim from Performance Wheel Outlet?

Need to know about the company and how's there customer service. Planning on a set of the 300's 17x9's with Nitto 555 245-45-17's and 275-40-17's 555dr's out the back.

Thanks,Dewman

I know a guy who bought the Saleen replicas off of ebay from wheel replicas. He got the 18x9's all the way around and they where powder coated white. I've looked at the rims next to the real deal and the only difference is that the replicas don't have "Saleen" stamped next to the valve stem. I talk to the guy that sells them on ebay and he'll send me 2 18x9 and 2 18x10 for $500. And yes the Saleen center caps will fit them.

I like both the chrome and the silver. I'm lazy so I'd probably go for the silver. <marquee direction=right > </marquee

What does "lazy" have to do with it

RC - I equate chrome rims to alot of time polishing same. I perfer to wash and rinse, and no polishing.

You dont POLISH chrome rims.. You wash them with soap and water and dry them, just like silver rims.

"Polished" rims are the ones you polish.

Think of them like a mirror. You dont "polish" a mirror, you just wipe them.

That's the good part about chomes!

Didn't realize that, then I'd definitely go for the chrome. Thanks for the update.

Hey i ordered my polished bullets from performance wheel outlet. Im not sure if they take longer because they are polisshed but it took them over a month ot get them to me, and i live really close to where they are based. I am in the process of ordering two more to mount DRs on and its the same run around its been around a month and a half and i have no rims yet. Maybe if u get chrome they will come faster.

Does anyone know how good the chroming is? I worry about chiping or pealing after a year or so. Thats the only reason I would choose polished.

Every company is different:
Mine have been on since 1996 in the S. FL heat, sun and rain. THe only peeling is small spot where there was a tire weight. They may get a little hazy in the cracks from rust underneath, but that would take at least a few years to occur.
