I was wondering if you guys had any comments on the 2000 cobra R replica wheels. Do the replicas hold up just as good? Anything i shoudl watch out for when looking at these? i found some on the net i like but wanted to see if you guys think they would hold up alright (they would be round and not bend like some cheep metal) or any other problems you see with bolting them up to my car thanks for your input. I am looking to spend about 1350 with tax shipping and the whole 9 yards. I need tires to. replicas the way to go?

Do you guys have replicas or the real thing??
Yah, i've had mine for almost a year no problems, the shop that put them on scratched them a little when putting them on but that would have happened with any chrome. Get em! :nice: make sure you check ebay too, usually get really great deals. And partshopper here. :flag:

:bs: If a shop scratched my new chrome rims, they would be buying me a new one.

its a very small scratch on two of the rims, right by the center caps. I would have gone off on the moron but I didn't notice it until about a week later when I was cleaning them for the first time. :notnice:

You'll also be paying more for the 18" tires, keep that in mind. For example the 18 Nitto's are about $40 more each. They are already pricey with the 17's.

So basically, with the extra $ you are going to pe paying for the 18" tires, you could buy a whole 17" tire.
