required to change cam bearings when changing cam??

thanks for reminding me to get pissed! lololluckily my car now has new waterpump gaskets, so those studs wont cause too much of a problem for me when i cam it up.

This may be a good thing in a roundabout way,as the "B" cam is not a good choice for a stock 5.0L engine.

Camshaft bearings usually last a long time,and replacing them is a pain since you need special tools and each of the 5 cam bearings in the Ford 5.0L small block is a different size.
I`ve never understood why Ford made the engine with different size camshaft bearings .

actually i am getting new cam bearings regardless, the guy doing the machining for us if going to do it.

i will most likelybe getting some gt-40s or something, i dont think i will use stock heads.

I think its so you cant accidentally put it in backwards


Dunno, its weird though.
