I'm working my way through learning to self tune with QH, J3 and related stuff. First thing I want to do is read and copy a base tune I have on an SCT chip. I have Moates Flash & Burn and a Jaybird. I can't find and instructions or details on how to use Jaybird or Flash & Burn. Anything you can point me to would be greatly appreciated.

First off, the SCT chip will plug into the Jaybird either way (inverted). I don't want to trial and error in fear of damaging something. Which way does it plug in? Is the orientation I have pictured correct or flip it over? Will it damage anything if its plugged in upside down?
