Hey folks. Im fixing to be getting an '83 model and was wondering if there is any company that makes a set of headlights for the 4 eyed cars where you can replace the bulb instead of the whole lens when one blows?

I bought a set off ebay..I think Hella makes them...I wasnt to happy with there service no direction you need to either cut the orginal wiring harness to hook up the lights or do what i did i bought new pigtails and put male connectors on them and pluged them into the stock connectors so if i want to go back to stocks its easy and i didnt have to cut any wires ....Hope this helps...oh yeah here is the link too....
Those lights i have are a glass bulb with an H4 composite type buld in it,,,its way brighter then stock and its made that way....it has a rubber boot cover the bulb so no water can get it,....Looks stock but works way better IMO...
Alternatively, i've really been tempted to try those halo conversion lights...(god here come the flamers...lol). Seriously though, i've seen some pics and i think on the right car they'd look pretty sweet. They're all over ebay if you don't know what i'm talking about.

I dont undersatnd they look bone stock just with a H4 bulb inside...Thats the only difference...Ill post a picture in a few you cant even tell.....The high been is form advanced auto the low beam is form E-bay with the H4 bulb..
I think this is an awesome idea. I have had 4 different 4-eyed cars and the lighting sucked on all of them. This looks totally stock if not a hint better, and the improved lighting is totally worth it. I'm glad someone brought this up, next 4 eyed car i get will get a full set of these lights!
Also if you want brighter lights you can build or buy a relay conversion harness. I made one not to long ago and my lights are brighter than what they were before they almost look like HIDs in flash to pass mode. I'm sure they would work better if my headlights werent pee yellow and aimed wrong.
