long story, but now when I start up it surges and stalls(usually) its due to a bad relearning process recently...

What is the proper procedure for retraining your IAC(solenoid)

Why do you think it's a learning process issue? That is probably not the issue.

The proper method involves a couple of starts, one with no load and one with a load (accessories). Generally just clearing the KAM suffices however.

Your posts don't really make sense and you don't provide answers to questions. You should not have to do anything to allow a new IAC to function properly. The steps noted above only expedite the learning curve (it's a given that you should always clear the KAM when installing a new component).

Good luck.

alright, as said it was a bad relearn, now Ill go into details about me knowing what Im talking about.

My buddys cars was a no start, and we thought it could have been the battery, so we took a known working battery(mine) and put it into his car. nothin, so put the battery back into my car and tried to jump it again, about 3 times, so it was relearning while under a huge load 3000rpms(its not necessary with an open throttle), and it was never like that before, and therefore, thats what needs to be done

now thank god Ive asked for the same thing on 4 forums, because stangnet is terrible, and everyone thinks theyre a cop and tries to interogate you!

FWIW, the load refers to an accessory load. The IAC is not 'under load' while at 3K RPM.

I see your Corral thread. That and this one both have similar information and recommendations.

Personally, I'll do my best to not post on your threads again.

Good luck.

HISSIN provided some useful information there, man. No need to throw a hissy fit because you posted a thread with absolutely zero details.

Good luck with your search.

If the site is so terrible, you're welcome to leave at any time. I'd hate to see how you act when a dealer's service department asks you the same questions and you don't have the option of being a keyboard commando, in person.

You've got a piss poor people skills my friend. Nobody was trying to interogate you, they were merely asking you to clarify and to lay down all of the fact before attempting to answer your question.

In any case, an attitude like that isn't going to get you far. If you don't want an answer, don't ask the question...simple as that. If you want to leave after this, that's your choice....but cop that kind of attitude here again with the members and you won't have to worry about leaving being an option!
