while i was bored out of my mind at work today i had an awesome thought...

What if they eventually made a retro foxbody...The good looks of the fox with all the modern equipment. I would definitely buy one if the styling was right.

Yea it will probably never happen but it would definitely be badazz. What do you guys think

i always thought of this.. i hope for hatch... but to be honest hatch currently isent the thing.

yea its wierd about the hatches, some people hate them some love them. Althought i must say the notches do look really clean

All new Mustangs since '94 are notchbacks, more or less.

I still don't see why they can't genuinely make a 100% exact reproduction of the older Mustangs, ONLY updated with proper safety equipment (lap + shoulder belts, airbags, optional ABS) and a modern powertrain (3v 4.6L and a new 6-speed manual with an 8.8" live-axle rear, BOO-YAHHHH!). Really, did they break the mold on old 'Stangs? They wouldn't ever have to update the body/chassis, just change the drivetrain to increase power, address reliability issues, and/or improve emissions.

Huh? What? Oh ... sorry, I was dreaming. What were we talking about, again?
