So, I sold my SHO a number of months back. The current "owner" never paid me in full and I pretty much just gave up trying- it was only a couple hundred and I was happy for it to be gone.

Fast forward to today. Seems she never put it in her name, and it was towed. Since she apparently never put it in her name, they cant contact her- and I received a notice of Lien. She's going to the auction in a week. Looks like karma was with me on this one

Funny thing is, she's a fortune teller....would have though she would have seen it coming

Some of us are pathetic, I know. LOL We're both sitting at home, unable to leave "Mustangland" for even a split second. I didn't even go in today, but I think I've talked to Jeff and Chung more today than any normal work day. So, Steve's flying to Cincinnatti tomorrow morning to look at a Saleen! Red, 2000 (GT body, not V6), Procharged, 7,000 miles BEAUTIFUL black leather interior. $20,000. What do you think??

Saleen with with GT body and not a V6? I am kinda confused. Is it a real Saleen or a GT with a Procharger P1-SC? Whats the car number so I can check it in the book?

Steve was saying when they made the car, they used a body from a GT, not a V6..... So when the title company/bank looks up the vin #, it comes up as a GT. It's #153

Correct. All Saleens come with GT vins these days. Only the S351 cars ever had the V6 Vin.

Book has no data on that car number. There are quite a few numbers missing due to owners not reporting updated info or Saleen not providing info on the car. Does not mean its not legit, just means the current owner(s) dont know anybody that knows Brad Bowling

Oh, ok, good to know about the GT/V6 thing.... This guy I guess is the second owner. I'm sure Steve'll register it and keep it somewhat updated.
