reverse lights

I just bought some new reverse lights for my 66 coupe and was wordering how to hook them up. I have a 5 speed put in and don't know what i need to get everything working fine.

I know someone has done this before, please share the info.

Backup light switch on a late model 5 spd is about centered on the main housing of the tranny on the drivers side. It is a 2 wire, simple single pole switch. Connect a fused hot wire on one side of the switch and run the other side to your bup light feeds. Make sure the other side of the lights are grounded and make sure your hot wire is only hot with the ignition turned on.
