okay so after factoring out the cost od brackets/pump/pulley i decided to go the cheaper route on my set up.

the belt will only run on crank/wp/alternator pulley.

so using all stock component i decided the cheapest way to get my car running is reversing the springs on the idler/tensioner. and changing the pulley to 6 grove.

with that said i plan on reversing the springs and thats where my problem comes in. i have search through the site and read lots and lost of threads but i cant seem to find the instruction on how to do it. i have tried to disamble it but that cover thing wont pop off.

another question is what size belt are people using that is running this belt set up?

btw is the stock idler bore size 17mm?

You can actually re drill the pin hole or slot the bracket and then run the belt on top of the tensioner pulley, pull up on the tensioner till you have the belt tension desired and tighten it down.

We use to run short belts at the track that way years ago, I eventually left my street car like that and never had an issue. Belt length is going to be different depending on what pullies you run, so you might ot get the correct answer. Use an old belt to mock it up, mark it and measure.
