And people wonder why i hate ricers!!!! One kid says "I have a friend who has an 89 V6,, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i should email him and bet him like 100 grand. Plain and simple there is no way a Civic will beat and Mustang with out extensive work done. Just like there is no way a Mustang will beat and LS1 with out some work done

I totally agree. My bud who drives a Subee WRX hates the fact that 99% of all those bumblebee mufflers were just installed to make noise.

I think the reason i hate ricers so bad, is the ignorance of them all. I mean its like a guy with 100 bucks bragging to a millionaire about his money. Whoever told the ricers that VTEC kicks in????? Ive driven a Honda with Vtec and i cant feel any difference at all, its slow from stop to redline.

Hey guys i just beat z06 tonight in my stock 5.0 with exhaust. How idiotic does that freakin sound. Do these Ricers not no how stupid they sound?

I learned the hard way to respect whatever it is you line up beside, even if it is a honda. When all I had was flowmaster mufflers, I had one pull 3 or 4 cars on me from a 60-90 roll, even though I started to SLOWLY reel him in, and he wasn't even a turbo car. The ones with a clean tip and a stock body/clean kitted ones are the ones you need to watch out for, especially if they act more mature that most. Hell I seen a older honda bust a low 8 at the 1/8th. That has a bolt on 5.0's milk easily, and it only gets worse after the 1/8th mile marker.

No joke there. They hate them because.... well how annoying is it when someone comes up with a V6 or 4-popper mustang and compares thier car to yours? I worked with a guy that always talked about his "five-oh", and when he finally drove it to work one day, it was a 2.3!!! He said it was an "import racer mustang". This is the same guy that when the lady at the drug screening office told him to go in the bathroom and give them a sample for a drug test, he came out with a cup of something else, and it wasn't urine.

I have to admit, the first time I went to the strip with my first hatch (no mufflers, Hurst shifter), I met an Eagle Talon at the tree. I was naive and thought, "cool, I'll smoke this guy", he blew my doors off. Turned out to be a AWD turbo car. Granted I was pretty much bone stock at the time. But that made me realize from the beginning to never judge a book by it's cover. Or make assumptions. something like that...
