Hello all. So just installed a new 650 edelbrock carb about a week and a half ago. and now it will run real rich during idle, you can smell the gas from 10 ft away. but wen driving the car and rpms goes above 3000, its start popping like its lean. it didnt do this when I first put the carb on, so im wondering if anyone else has had issues like this.

Have you tried adjusting this idle circuit for a good idle? Cruise and idle run off two seperate ckts so its possible it's both, not sure why it would start out of the blue but if it's happening it's happening.
