Ridiculous HEADER/H-PIPE problems/questions

Ok, well one is ridiculous and the other just a tiny set-back.

1. I got new BBK shorties and put them in.

How do i connect them to the H pipe? They came with 4 studs (i know what to do with these) and 4 bolts. Now, which side do the bolts go on, and why would I leave an open end? Or did they just NOT send me enough bolts?

Anyway, the STOCK header studs have a welded on washer on the header's side, so that explains that. These new studs do not have that.

2. When taking the EGR tube off the stock H pipe, we ended up having to saw it off because it fused itself together with the H pipe's EGR feed-line (the part that the EGR tube itself slips onto, and gets clamped to).

So now it won't fit onto the new H pipe's EGR tube feed-line because it has an overlapping piece inside of it and is too small. If we cut it to the point where there is no more overlapping, the entire piece will be too short. Any ideas on a fix?

Sweet, someone else just IM'd me telling me that headers were tapped. I had no idea and didn't even think to look

The rest of the install we've got done, except these two little things.

I wish I could delete the smog but it needs to pass Assachusetts emissions tests, and they are really anal and pissy about them
