rims for 06 mustang

I have a 06 mustang gt. I found a set of rims off a 97 mustang. will they fit my car? thanks

A little more information would be helpful. Factory wheels or aftermarket? What size and offset? Most likely they will have the wrong offset and be tucked into the wheel wells pretty far. What are you using them for?

They are aftermarket deep dish bullet wheels and I would use them for every day driving

I think the bolt pattern will be fine but the offset is likely to be off, the wheels will probably be tucked into the wheel wells pretty far. You would probably want a 35mm to 41mm offset for your car. Are they local pickup or shipped, if they are local then maybe see if you can test fit them.

they are going to hang out of the fenders..... the S197 has a more positive offset than the SN95.... (the rotors are further outboard than the 90s mustangs)

You are right, I had it backwards. I have seen a SN95 with S197 wheels on it and they were tucked in too far.
