I'm at the point where i'm more willing to make payments to garantee the car will start up and be issue free for a few years vs worrying about what is about to break on the car and when i can find the time to fix it.

You will like the bullitt suspension, it has a stiff enough feel to it and handles well without being unbearable for every day stuff such as speedbumps. Although after 95000 miles i can tell my shocks and struts are a little "tired". When i get some funds my plan was to keep the bullitt springs and go with some bilstiens, hopefully that will be a good combo.
I can hardly wait to feel the difference. My suspension parts or at least the struts were supposed to have been changed at 60K but I put it off.
Maybe you can consider a brand new reasonable price bullitt kit I linked to above? Not sure what difference bilstiens will make.
Tom: I'm going to have to blow off your advice and learn the hard way unless you can tirerack me some decent tires (stock GT size) for a good price. Do you have an affordable suggestion? BTW: The II's and III's are totally different.
Those conti sport tracs (previous generation) in the comparo are actually great, I had them (previous generation) on my 98 GT before, very good stopping power, very good in the turns and good/avg stopping in the rain going down hills
I got some stock 98 cobra rims with barely new BF KDW wrapped around them if you want to make a deal?

I got a few install prices and have an appointment for Tuesday for the job.
To mount & balance 4 tires: $75
Install 4 springs & 4 struts: $150
Alignment $59 unless it needs mjr adjust.
Install of front and rear sway bars: unknown based on how much work is involved. Just a guess estimate he gave was ~ $150
Total est of $430
Sounds like a good list. From what I remember, I removed both front and rear swaybars when I did my spring/struts upgrade, so he really should charge you anymore for putting the new ones on, but hopefully it will only be minimal.
